About
Providing Personal lifestyle service based on customer DNA test results
In the summer of 2021, I interned with LG Household & Health Care's UX team & DNA data team where I designed a lifestyle application utilizing the PHR data (Personal Health Records) for an intern idea-pitching project.
The goal was to offer a secondary lifestyle app, allowing 2030 customers to make effective use of their genetic data service provided by LG's MyGenomService in their daily lives.
Through this, I aimed to position LG not just as a seller of household and cosmetic products but as a company that continuously engages with its customers to enhance their quality of life.
During the project, I refined the product based on customer feedback and survey data, leading to its selection as a future R&D project within LG’s UX team. While I am unable to disclose specific visual details of this project due to an NDA, I would be happy to showcase key interface design that highlights my skills and approach.

&
A surge in skin-related concerns has been observed, largely attributed to the prolonged use of masks during the ongoing pandemic.
Needs & Solutions
Women in their 20s and 30s in Korea are increasingly interested in and recognize the need for a personalized skin assistant tailored to their genetic skin type.
The generic and repetitive nature of existing skincare app services fails to deliver noticeable improvements to users’ skin.
